With the Summer season getting under way today, it’s time to announce the Winter results, so here are the\u00a0season’s top 5s:<\/p>\n

Series A<\/h2>\n

The first race of each Sunday race meeting throughout the season\u00a0is the A series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

All Seasons: Half-time report\u00a0(A+B)<\/h2>\n

The All Seasons<\/em> trophy goes to the member who has won the most points\u00a0at the end of the Summer season when we combine Winter A+B with Summer A+B,\u00a0and at the half-way stage the current results are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Analysis<\/h2>\n

A massive\u00a0congratulations to Ray and Neil\u00a0on\u00a0winning this season’s A and B series, but that’s not the whole story:<\/p>\n

  • By taking\u00a0joint first place\u00a0in series B, Neil becomes the first member whose primary dinghy is a Laser ever to win a series at CSC<\/li>\n
  • Joe is\u00a0the youngest member of CSC to finish\u00a0in the top 3 in at least\u00a010 years (and possibly the entire history of CSC)<\/li>\n
  • John has shown exactly why he won our\u00a02015\u00a0Most Improved<\/em> award, breaking into the top 5 of both the A+B series for the first time<\/li>\n
  • Based on her average results, Janice might\u00a0have won the B series if she’d\u00a0been in just two more races<\/li>\n
  • While a 30 point spread between first\u00a0and fifth at the half-way point of the All Seasons<\/em> trophy might seem like a lot,\u00a0turnout in the Summer season means there can be >50% more\u00a0points up for grabs, so\u00a0the competition is still wide open!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
